IMO, Pat Robertson is sick and demented. Basically what he is saying is that the slaves should not have revolted. They should have been content in staying slaves, because to do otherwise is cause *place silly superstition here*.

Robertson has made a number of controversial statements in the past. He said women's lib would lead women to kill their children and become lesbians.
I don't know if he or someone like him blamed the 9/11 attacks on God's punishment for allowing abortion and homesexuality in the US.

As far as his comment about Haiti, it seems he believes that the devil apears in person and says "Hi, I'm the devil, whadya need?" His further comment about how he thinks Haiti got what it deserved is not something a true Christian would say.

Limbaugh was roundly criticized for his negative comments and many criticisms came from conservatives which probably didn't bother him at all.

Now that Bush and Clinton are working with Obama on the earthquake recovery, I wonder what Rush will have to say about that?

On his Fox News show today, Glenn Beck said three times not once, not twice... buttt thrice. that's right, thrice that “if it is true,” it is close to “treason”: be afraid, be very afraid.
