A Year

I cannot believe that it is almost a year since her passing. Rod, you have done soooo many wonderful things during this year since your beloved Mother passed away. I know that she is proud of you and still looking after her "little warrior" from wherever she may be.

Your Roddenberry Dive Team took off and seems like you have done some wonderful dives (that Epcot dive...... WOW).

Your current challange to all of the San Diegians...... I hope they step up to the plate and hit home runs out of the ballpark for the oceans.

As to your personal blessings/events this past year, I hope that they were filled with love, peace and blessings abound.

May your Christmas season be again full of blessings, being surrounded by loved ones and dear friends (especially on the 12/18) and may you have anouther wonderful and fun New Year.

To Rod:That , though it has been, in the greater span of time, a very short period-yet perhaps somehow long, I hope that this year after your mother's loss finds it somewhat easier to bear. I lost my own mother in '01-and when moments are difficult, I am inclined to think, 'If only she were here to help me through it'...a Mom is a best friend-truly, the best one you can have. And whatever good that is in us, I think we oftentimes can attribute that to that person who gave us birth, patiently endured our mistakes, believed in us at all times, and supported us every day,and ,all the while, loving us...as Majel will ever love you. I still miss her. The world still seems empty without her, but yes you are doing well, Rod and I'm glad to see it.

Mriana, I too am still missing her. I just rewatched the video that Rod so sweetly made in her memory. I had not watched it for several months. It was wonderful to rewatch and remember her. It brought a smile to my face.

I know. It still hurts and I'm not her child nor did I ever get the chance to meet her. I adored her as Majel and if that really is a LOT like her real self, I would have LOVED having her as my mother. However, I quite often hear from my sons, "Mom, you ARE Lwaxana Troi!" How she dealt with Alexander is a lot like I deal with children, esp now that my sons are grown and it's a lot like I deal with my own sons now that they are grown. I'm almost inverably giving my two-cents about the girlfriends my sons pick. My older son recently had a gf recently that I just adored and well... he screwed up with her BIG time. Not only was he sorry, but I hurt with his now ex-gf and was just as upset with him for it. I wouldn't have minded if she ended up as my future daughter-in-law, but he messed up, even admits he screwed up too and wishes he had not.

I know how you feel, Mriana. THe past few days, I have been watching E:FC, and I get a bit *wibble* when Majel is on it. I smile, albeit a bit sadly.

Yes, I have the same problem. I still cannot believe she is gone. As much as it would be a cruel joke, a part of me would like to hear Rod say, "She's not really dead." However, I know, albeit with some pain, it's not a cruel joke.
