Hey has anyone read the stories from Orion Press? Ok so I know realisticlly won't be happening but I'd love to see it on film. They've got nearly everyone in TOS in it one way or another. It's the way I'd like to think things happened after Generations.

Of course being a die hard fan of Chekov I'm probably a bit biased. Either way go read them; cause there awsome.

You do have an interesting idea, but I think it is abit to late to try and get Koenig back into uniform.

Very true, but a girl can dream right? Atleast I have the stories. That's what I like about fics; characters are ageless.

If any new series is made it should be about either Checkov or Sulu as there is a lot we do not know about them after the old crew split up in STVI (or Generations if you prefer).
The stories put out by Pocket Books show there is an interest among fans for such stories.

Well there is always going with 100% cgi, and have the remaining TOS cast do voice overs, or find a way to use old recorded voices and make the cgi characters talk like they were that young. Like have a computer program analyze the audio, and create a vocabulary for each cgi character. Or have the program use the characters voice while someone else is speaking.

Oooh; that could work. It probably wouldn't bode well with the rest of the fans but I wouldn't mind since I *heart* Chekov. Any change to see the guys in action... even if it was just CGI is fine by me.
